Chain Link Fence

sampleWe only use the best quality chain link products. You may not think that there are differences, but there are many from the wire to the framework.

A lot of people ask us why we are more expensive than the local home warehouse store? The answer is, that the products are not the same. these companies sell the lowest gauge wire and the lightest weight framework available. It's also typicallay galvanized after weave in stead of galvanized before weave. See the pdf to the left to see the difference. The only thing this product is good for is dividing property lines. They are by no means a way of keeping rambunctious dogs or children in, because the pipe and wire are so easy to bend. You will be out far more money and time by replacing the fence twice than by using the correct materials the first time. Always remember, you get what you pay for.

The American Fence Association recommends using 2" x 9 gauge wire and .065 weight framework. Home warehouses stock a 2 3/8" x 11 1/2 gauge wire and they don't even advertise what the weight of the pipe is. Their gates are bent at the corners instead of a square weld for perfect fit. Those small holes the bent corners create are big enough for some small dogs to get through, not only that, it's a place for any dog to focus on an escape. At Laurel Highlands Fence, you can choose from .065 residential to SS40 commercial weight pipe and 1 3/4" or 2" x 9 or 6 gauge, galvanized after weave chain link wire. If you want to dress up your fence, you can choose vinyl coated wire or have the entire fence wire, pipe and fittings, vinyl coated in black, brown or green. We have an in-house weld shop to custom make every gate to fit. You can also choose different accessories like privacy slats, privacy link wire, and shade screens.
